Local Color

Local color is the color of objects viewed up close, colors are normal in nature, however light and atmosphere may effect how the color changes. I used artist Claude Monet to show an example of Local color. The painting is called "Landscape: The Parc Monceau". I chose this painting because the effect of the light from the sun. The tree in the center with the pink flowers is my first example. If you view the tree closely  the top right coroner appears to be  grayish purple. Normally you would not see this from a tree. The lighting from the sun also effects the colors in the grass.
